Nursery!

Since Addy is 17 months, I thought it would be worth a shot to see if our nursery would take her early. They were so nice and said they would as long as they didn't have too many kids..which they didn't! After Sunday School, my friend said that they had been looking for me, but when they peeked in the door to Gospel Doctrine they couldn't see us. Addy apparently realized that she had been dropped off in a room full of strangers and started crying. They said once they took her in the hall to find us she calmed down, so they took her back in and she was fine the rest of church. It's been driving me crazy taking her in the hall all during church...it's not that she's bad - she just has so much energy and loves to talk, that she walks around to everyone and laughs and talks really loud to them. So - I'm really grateful that they're taking her early. I didn't know what to do sitting in Sunday School without her, it was really weird being able to sit still and listen to the lesson. I all of a sudden felt really old having a kid in nursery :) I loved going to get her after church, seeing her walking around with her paper that she was supposed to color, but didn't:) She saw me and goes, "Mommy!!" then handed me her crumpled up paper with a proud look on her face. I wanted to cry! I love her so much!

Quick Update

As for Chris and I...I'm still sick all day - 17 1/2 weeks and no relief. I've tried it all, nothing works except I get the B6 shots and they help for 2 days which is a nice break..but they raised the price on them so I won't be able to get them as often. Oh well, almost half way through! We're excited to find out in a few weeks what the gender is! That will make it seem a little more real. I've been losing weight so far in this pregnancy so I'm not showing too much yet, which makes it hard for this to seem real right now. Except... the past couple days I've finally started feeling some movement!!
We found out last month that Chris was accepted into the Radiation Control program that the INL does through EITC. We were so EXCITED because they have a waiting list for it, but he scored high enough on the tests that they put him through! YAY! He'll start that in August and it's an 18 month program and then we'll be done! There's finally a light at the end of the tunnel! The INL hires on the top out of each class.. but even if we don't make it there, there's a high demand all over the country so we're excited to be so close to being settled with a great job. But we'll be praying to be able to stay here and work at the site:) I'm so proud of Chris and how hard he has worked since we got married. The summer work isn't easy..but he pushes on through so we can have the money to pay for school. Then when we get back, he works full time and goes to school and I know it's so exhausting for him. I get cranky sometimes with how little I see him, but I know this is phase we have to go through to get to the next stage in our lives which will make this all worth it. I love him so much and am so grateful for all he does for our little family.

All about Addison

Addison will be 17 months on Saturday! I can't believe it! She is so much fun, but is getting quite the attitude! It seems like once she turned 15 months, she knows what she wants and won't take no for an answer..but that WILL be her answer for everything! She is such a talker and jabbers all day. She talks in sentences all day long, even if I can't understand a word of it. Her newest words are Biaper (diaper)..and she'll come up to me and say it while patting her diaper when she's poopy. She says "Dank-oo" (thank-you), "bess-oo" (bless you) after you sneeze, "here go" ("here you go", while handing you something) "der go"("there you go" while handing you something). That's all I can think of right now:)..but she has her own full vocabulary that I love hearing each day. She runs all over the place and still takes 2 naps. She has almost all her teeth finally, getting her molars and canines in the past couple months. We gave her her first haircut..which was just giving her some bangs because she refuses to keep any ponytails in, so her hair just falls in her face. I love this girl to pieces and love waking up to her big smile and "Mommy!" each morning.

Parks are so much more fun when you can run and walk!

Tautphaus Park

While everyone was here, we took advantage of the nice weather and went to Tautphaus Park. The kids has SOOO much fun! Of course, the piles of leaves were their favorite and we ended up having leaf fights all afternoon till it got too cold. It was a blast having everyone here...can't wait till Christmas when we get everyone together again! It usually happens only once a year, if that.

Halloween 09

Halloween was crazy this year! My brother's family was in town from Oregon, so we had ALL the grandkids together for once! My nephew was blessed that weekend, so we tried to come out to my mom's as much as we could to see everyone. Which means Addy's sleep schedule was off and wasn't too happy most evenings...like Halloween! Chris and I took took her to Snake River Landing for trick-or-treat street on Friday night. That was the most fun, because she caught on real quick what they were putting in her bucket. She'd say "nummy nummy", then run off and try to cut people off for the next stop. The next night we loaded up all the grandkids and took them to some neighborhoods...she was so tired that she could care less what we were doing. I LOVED her in her monkey costume..she'd waddle around and it was just priceless!

At each trailor she'd try to take out the candy and eat it.
