Stats

I took these two in for their well checks yesterday. Mason was such a good boy, and Kinley was so wild and would not sit still for 2 minutes. They were champs with their shots. Kinley yelled at the nurse, and Mason barely made a fuss. We're taking Mason in on May 14th to finally get his ears tubed. I'm nervous, since we've never  had to take any of our kids in for anything like that. But I'm so excited to relieve him of all that pressure and have him not get any more ear infections. We're excited for his speech to clear up too. Looking back, we wish we would have tubed him in his first year.

Mason 2 years: weight - 35lbs (99%)
                          height - 36 in (87%)

McKinley 9.5 months: weight - 21 lbs (77%)
                                      height - 28 in (53%)

Summertime!

Back home to our sunshine! We had a record hot streak this past week in the mid-high 90's. We cooled off with the slip n' slide. It's funny what a year of growth does to kids..Mason hated water last summer and would cry at the splash pads. But he's a fish now and has no fear.

Taking a break for a drink:)
awww...time to relax in the kiddie pool
have we mentioned we absolutely love it here ;) ?!?!

Easter Weekend

One of my best friends growing up has moved to Texas. Now that neither of us live in Idaho Falls, our only chance of seeing each other, is to both plan a trip there at the same time. When she told me she'd be up there during Easter, I told Chris we have to go. Her sister, another one of my best friends, still lives there and had her second baby a couple weeks before Easter, which is part of why we went as well. I love my best friends and miss seeing them all the time. It was a fun weekend, very fast, but we crammed a lot in. We always drive through the night to get there..which leaves Chris and I useless the whole weekend, because we never get caught up on sleep. We don't have a lot of time there, so we don't want to waste a whole day sleeping. It's worth it for the kids to have more time with Grandparents. When we got there, there was snow covering the ground. I about died. We left 80 degree sunshine and pulled up to Idaho Falls with more snow than there was at Christmas! It was crazy..thank goodness it melted and by the time we left it might have been in the 60's :) We had fun seeing everyone and Thanks to our parents for everything!

Conference weekend we dyed Easter eggs..so fun, but still kind of annoying with young kids.

 Easter Baskets from Grandma/Grandpa Anderson

This is the house that my Dad grew up in. They're burning it down, so my Dad wanted to walk through it one last time and take pictures.

Easter Sunday we had the Rose Easter party/birthday party. Mason is so cute now that he's growing up and can play with the boys. He fits right in!

Kinley was fascinated with Trent/Leisle. She kept patting and kissing Trent's arm:)

I had to hold Mason and show him that the cake was for him, and he needed to blow the candle out:)

He LOVES animals and Grandma/Grandpa Rose got him some big farm animals to use in his toy barn. Thank You!

Sibling Love

Nothing beats seeing the love between siblings. These 3 are the best of friends. Now that Kinley is getting more active, she's getting more involved and HAS to be where the other two are. Life is never boring when you have brothers and sisters. I'm so grateful these 3 are part of our family and we're lucky enough to get to watch them grow.

Easter Egg Hunts

The kids were spoiled and got 3 Easter Egg Hunts this year. I did one for our Ward Playgroup, one at my Mom's and one at the Rose Easter/Birthday Party. The first one at our playgroup was funny, because Mason had no idea what to do and just stared at the eggs on the ground. Once he figured out they had candy he caught on real fast.

McKinley

Wow, I just unloaded my camera and realized how behind I am!! Lets start with this little munchkin. She is so much fun. She's by far the most vocal at this age out of all 3. She's been our first non-binky baby and it's defintely been a pain getting her to sleep through the night. She's an active little bugger and is constantly trying to turn around and jump out of our arms. She's so close to technically crawling, but does her own version of it to move around the house. She's always on the move now and loves to eat everything on the floor. She only ate baby food for maybe 3 weeks. She's always preferred the real thing smashed up for her. No teeth yet, her hair is still auburn, she waves and her first word is "dada." We LOVE our Kin Kin!
