Weekend in Vegas

Where do I start....our weekend wasn't long enough. It was so great to see Chris, and see Addy and Mason's faces when they saw him...but it was SO hard to leave and come back to our life without him. I'm extremely grateful to Chris's parents for inviting us to come with them and being patient on the long drive with our kids. I don't know why, but our kids are the worst at sleeping away from home. It makes vacationing so hard, because they never sleep through the night and naps are a nightmare when they're not at home in their beds. We got there around 3 on Friday, saw Chris's place, and then checked into hotel which was sooo nice! The hotel has a great buffet which we ate at the whole weekend. That night Chris took Addy to the pool and I stayed in to put Mason to bed. Saturday we took the kids to the AdventureDome at the Circus Circus. It was a lot of fun and Addy had a blast on the 4D Dora ride, and the Carousel. She went on the boat ride that goes back and forth, but it terrified her and she just curled up next to Chris and kept asking him to turn it off. Sunday, we went to church..came back for an attempt at naps..picked my Mom up at the airport, had dinner and relaxed the rest of the night in the hotel room. Monday morning, we ate breakfast and then had to say our goodbyes. The trip home was a Nightmare! Mason was sick and threw up 4 times. We hit bad traffic in Utah and our trip ended up being 2 hours longer with all the stops to clean Mason up and going 5 mph in Utah. I was happy to be home to get the kids back on schedule and get caught up on sleep, but I am so ready for this separation to be over. Anyway, here's some pics from our weekend.

So happy to be with Daddy again

Right after we got there on Friday..she was ready to relax!

Oh how I miss Vegas weather and hate being back here in low 60's, wind and rain.
